Davis Cross Country History

Overall
Boys – 7 state titles (‘74, ‘76, ‘78, ’01, ’02, ’06, ’07) 13 Region Titles.
Girls – 2 state titles (2007, 2008); 9 Region Titles; 9th at NXN 2007; Harrier #22 2008.

2009
Boys
– 1st Region, 3rd State; Logan Petty was region champion. Logan Petty (10th) was all-state. 4th at Nike Regionals.
Girls – 1st Region, 2nd State; Meghan Hedquist was individual state champion. Meghan Hedquist was region champion. Jessie Wilding (6th) was all-state.

2008
Boys – 1st Region, 3rd State; Seth Gutzwiller was individual state champion. Seth Gutzwiller was region champion. Team also finished 8th at Nike Regionals.
Girls – 1st Region, 1st State; Meghan Hedquist (2nd), Candace Eddy (3rd), Emily Hansen (5th) were all-state. Candace Eddy was region champion. Bob Firman team champions; 3rd at Nike Regionals. Candace Eddy was an individual qualifier for Nike Nationals.

2007
Boys – 1st Region, 1st State; Seth Gutzwiller (5th) and Spencer Anderson (7th) were all state. Finished 13th at Nike Regionals
Girls – 1st Region, 1st State; first ever team title; Natalie Haws was Davis’ first ever individual champion; Candace Eddy (5th) and Emily Hansen (10th) were all-state. Natalie Haws and Candace Eddy tied for the region championship. Girls finished 2nd at Nike Southwest Regional and qualified for nationals. Finished 9th at Nike Team Nationals in Portland.

2006
Boys – 1st Region, 1st State; Jared Ward (2nd) and Seth Gutzwiller (10th) were all-state. Jared Ward was region champion*Coach Buhrley’s final year.
Girls – 1st Region, 2nd State; upset by Jordan at state; Candace Eddy (4th) and Natalie Haws (7th) were all-state. Candace Eddy was region champion.

2005
Boys – 1st Region, 2nd State; Jared Ward (4th) was all-state.
Girls – 2nd Region, 7th State; Candace Eddy (2nd) and Natalie Haws (6th) were all-state.

2004
Boys – 1st Region, 2nd State; Josh Adams (2nd) was all-state. Upset by Jordan.
Girls – 2nd Region, 3rd State; Shaylee Marler (5th) and Natalie Haws (9th) were all-state – in a rainy state championships.

2003
Boys – 1st Region, 4th State; Jacob Thompson (10th) was all-state.
Girls – 2nd Region, 2nd State; Shaylee Marler (7th) and Lynette Purdy (9th) were all-state. *Coach Talley’s first year.

2002
Boys – 1st Region, 1st State; Jace Nye, Brad Phippen, and Mark Oram were all-state.
Girls – 1st Region, 2nd State; Lisa Frischknecht was all-state.

2001
Boys – 1st Region, 1st State; Jace Nye, Brad Phippen, and Mark Oram were all-state. Jace Nye was region champion.
Girls – 2nd Region, 3rd State; Lisa Frischknecht was all-state.

Boys – 1st Region, 2nd State; Brad Phippen was all-state.
Girls – 1st Region, 4th State; Emily King was all-state.
